lyrics
Draped in moonlight across the sea
Lies a haven so few can see
One must breath deep, one must see clear
One must wish to forsake the air
-
A search begins, a path so clear
Sanity has never been near
Coastline behind, lost in the mind
Darkness comes forth, no hope you’ll find
-
Welcome lost one to the temple of the mournful, new disciple
Welcome lost one to the haven, to a new way, one way to pay
-
And long faces drape the corridors
Carved in stone, mourning those once here
Along winding paths leading to the center
Only those most profoundly sad may enter
-
And once inside, step into the pit
Cut your soul, let it bleed for us
Down to the ground and drown in it
This is when your new life begins
-
And long faces drape the corridors
Carved in stone, mourning those once here
Along winding paths leading to the center
Only those most profoundly sad may enter
-
I beg you, please, I’m on my knees.
Can you feel me? Can you heal me?
I beg you, please, I’m on my knees.
Can you feel me? Can you kill me?

I wouldnt call it blackened death but it certainly has the bleak dark atmosphere akin to Akhlys or Watain while pummeling you with pure death metal and a touch of dissonance and doominess á la Morbid Angel..it really combines almost everything i love about metal and theres not a weak spot on here..their first album was good but this is stylistically much different and a vast improvement. Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
Punishing death metal from Pakistan, the new LP from Azaab is a scorcher with lyrics that tackle the oncoming apocalypse. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 17, 2022
